1500 copies sold by the publisher and only reprinted after the author’s death.

A specialist book, in which Darwin demonstrated the way that light and gravity influence and determine the movement of flowering plants in general: his earlier work focusing strictly on climbing plants. Assisted by his son, Francis, this was Darwin’s penultimate book.
