Pricing

Shipping prices are provided by our third-party service providers and our associated costs may be subject to price increase or reduction as fuel surcharges fluctuate. 
If you would like a revised shipping quote, which may be more favourable than the one provided at checkout, please reach out to us at ray@rayvanwykrarebooks.com

With a few exceptions (listed below) we will always honour the shipping fee provided at checkout, but we may, on request, be able to offer a discounted price.

Tracking 

All items are shipped via tracked international courier, except UPS Economy to the USA.

Duties and Taxes

While books and printed works on paper are generally exempt, you may be liable for such fees, duties, VAT and tariffs as are raised by the government of the country to which your items are shipped. We do not bill or collect any foreign taxes. Please consult with your country's relevant tax authority, or a logistics professional in your region to establish whether this might apply to you.

Weight Considerations

If the items in your cart are above certain preset weights, you will need to contact us for a shipping quote.

Delivery Times 

Delivery times are provided by our third-party shipping partners and are estimated from the day your items arrive at their Cape Town warehouse. It might take us a few additional days to process your order before it is delivered to them. We will communicate with you as soon as your order has been sent and provide tracking information as soon as it is available to us.

Please consider South African and destination country holidays and weekends as non-working days.

Exceptions for Outlying Areas

If your delivery address is in a remote, or outlying area, such as a farm, research facility or military base, rural area or desert, we may need to revise your shipping costs in accordance with prices supplied by our third-party shipping providers.

What if I do not see my location listed as a shipping destination?

There are a very small number of countries that our preferred, low cost providers do not provide shipping to. If you cannot find your location in our list of countries we ship to, please reach out to us for a quote from alternative shippers.
