Brown card wraps, some toning to the title page and final leaf.  A very good copy of this Afrikaans children’s book by adult author John Miles, the first children’s book to be banned in Apartheid South Africa, where not only the sale but also the ownership of the book was forbidden (Wybenga and Snyman, 2005). The book deals with the school boycott and inferior education standards for black children in the 1980s.
