A Very Good copy indeed - a touch of foxing to the edges and a light bump to the lower edge of both boards. Jacket unclipped and very good indeed, but for foxing to the verso. Shows exceptionally well.
The essays contained in this volume were published shortly after Biko’s death at the hands of the South African security forces while in police custody, sparking global interest in his work as an anti-apartheid activist and Black Consciousness leader. Collected by Biko’s close friend, the Anglican priest Aelred Stubbs C.R. and appended by Stubb’s personal memoir of Biko entitled Martyr of Hope.
