Wood notes that the information in this excellent work is derived chiefly from a collection of nearly a thousand skins of birds.

From the library of South African natural history book dealer, publisher and conservationist Russel Friedman.

Anker 469, Wood pp566, SABIB S114

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0955/4460/7040/files/Untitleddesign-2026-06-18T161355.797.jpg?v=1781855495
